Federico Macheda signs new Manchester United deal
Federico Macheda has signed a four-year deal that is set to keep him at Manchester United until June 2014. The 18-year-old striker scored a stunning injury-time winner on his debut against Aston Villa in April.
"Everyone at the club recognises his fantastic talent - we hope to see that develop in the next years," manager Sir Alex Ferguson told the club website.
The Italian has scored two goals in 10 United appearances but has not played in the Premier League this season.
"I am very happy to commit my future to Manchester United," said Macheda.
"I really enjoyed myself last season when I came on and I hope to get more chances like that and contribute to the team's success."
Former Lazio youth team player Macheda signed professional terms with United on 22 August 2008 and rapidly progressed through the youth and reserve teams before earning his chance in the first team.
Six days after his first appearance, he came on at Sunderland and again scored the winning goal.

Donghae looked at Kibum.
"Bum-ah...?"
"I-I-I'm sorry hyung. I d-don't know w-what got int-to me. I'm sorry!"
Kibum looked terrified.
Donghae didn't know what to do. Did he feel the same way? He wasn't sure. Until now, he'd thought he liked girls. But at the moment, he wasn't so sure.
Kibum stared at Donghae's face. He mistook the confusion for rejection.
He felt his eyes well up painfully, and his nose started to burn.
Donghae was about to say something when Kibum jumped up and ran off. He disappeared in a matter of seconds.
"KIBUM-AH!"
Donghae got up and ran towards the general direction his dong-saeng had run.
But there was no sign of Kibum anywhere.
............
Kibum collapsed. He'd run straight on, for who knew how long. Running away from the man he loved. Who didn't love him back.
Kibum felt his eyes fill with tears once again. What had he done? Had he really just ruined the 4-year friendship, just for his own stupid feelings?
He sank down onto the ground, aching all over, inside and out.
It was getting dark now. Kibum remembered when the band had gone on a private camping trip a few months ago, just for fun. Night had fallen, and so had Kibum. He'd tripped over a root jogging, and sprained his ankle painfully. He had cried for help over and over, until Donghae found him. He'd pulled the hurt Kibum onto his lap and held him for hours. Kibum had just sobbed and sobbed. He'd been so scared. He had worried the band would never find him and he would die, out in the woods, all alone. Dongahe had tried to cheer him up with cute faces, but when that hadn't worked, he'd cracked a joke.
"You want to know how I found you?"
"I was screaming myself hoarse?"
"No, I was taking a walk and saw your teeth from a mile away. I got closer, and THEN I heard you."
"What are you talking about, hyung?"
"Stupid. I was talking about how white your teeth are."
"Oh. Hehe."
Kibum chuckled even now, even through his tears, even though he was all alone. Again.
................
Donghae had been running for 30 minutes now. And he still couldn't find his Kibum. Whoa. Since when was Kibum his?
Donghae shook his head. No. This isn't the way it was supposed to be. They were all straight. They were all supposed to like girls, and when they got older, they were supposed to fall in love and marry. TO GIRLS. This was all wrong. All wrong.
But Donghae knew this was no time to think about that. He had to find his Kibum before it grew too dark....DAMNIT. He had done it again.
Donghae sat down and shouted. He screamed at the top of his lungs. He vented out all his feelings until he was left empty. He sagged down to the ground and cried.
...............
Kibum got up. He was tired of sitting. Donghae had probably already left for the hostel. He walked toward the road until he realized one thing: He didn't know where the road WAS.
Kibum panicked. He was lost?! How could he be lost? Maybe, he thought, maybe if i just walk around in a straight line, I'll get somewhere.
So Kibum walked.
And walked.
And walked some more.
Kibum got nervous again. Hadn't he passed that tree a minute ago? He plopped down onto the ground. He looked around for a second, and just laughed. He laughed and laughed and laughed some more. He was screwed and he knew it.
...............
Donghae stopped crying. He heard something. The sound of...laughing? He turned right and saw a faint white outline about 10 feet away. Could that be...Kibum's teeth?
A/N; So far, this is my favorite chapter. So much emotion. Can't you just picture Kibum laughing, even though he's stuck in the middle of nowhere all alone at NIGHT? And then Donghae finding him by the whiteness of his teeth. By the way, the first time he found him was by his screaming, not actually by his teeth. He was just saying that to cheer Kibum up. But this time, he really did find him because of the teeth. I had to put that because Kibum's teeth are REALLY WHITE man. I'm not even kidding. :D [That's Kibum's smile. Puhahaha.[:
oh, and yeah, i know, this is almost 3 months late. i totally forgot i posted the first chapter here. i'm extremely sorry everyone. /:
